Do You Know the Following Three Control Methods of AC Servo Motor?

What is an AC servo motor?

I believe everyone knows that an AC servo motor is mainly composed of a stator and a rotor. When there is no control voltage, there is only a pulsating magnetic field generated by the excitation winding in the stator, and the rotor is stationary. When there is a control voltage, a rotating magnetic field is generated in the stator, and the rotor rotates in the direction of the rotating magnetic field. When the load is constant, the speed of the motor changes with the magnitude of the control voltage. When the phase of the control voltage is opposite, the servo motor will be reversed. Therefore, in the process of using AC servo motor, it is very important to do a good job of control. So what are the three control methods for AC servo motors?

Three control methods of AC servo motor

There are three methods on how to control this kind of industrial electrical automation.

1. Amplitude and phase control method of AC motor servo

Both the amplitude and phase are controlled, and the speed of the servo motor is controlled by changing the amplitude of the control voltage and the phase difference between the control voltage and the excitation voltage. That is, the amplitude and phase of the control voltage UC are changed at the same time.

2. Phase control method of AC motor servo

During phase control, the control voltage and excitation voltage are both rated voltages. By changing the phase difference between the control voltage and the excitation voltage, the AC servo motor can be controlled. That is, the amplitude of the control voltage UC is kept unchanged, and only its phase is changed.

Viyork has HC SFS202, HF KP43BK, and other kinds of AC servo motos for sale. If you want to know more about the products, please contact Viyork whenever you like.

3. Amplitude control method of AC motor servo

The control voltage and the excitation voltage maintain a phase difference of 90 degrees, and only the amplitude of the control voltage is changed. That is, keep the phase angle of the control voltage UC unchanged, and only change its amplitude.

These three control methods of AC servo motor have different functions. In actual use, we need to choose the appropriate control method according to the actual work requirements of the AC servo motor. The content introduced above is the three control methods of AC servo motor.
